Quick answer: Diamond prices in Lebanon depend on each stone’s carat weight, colour, clarity, cut and shape, measured against the Rapaport benchmark the trade uses. The table below lists live from-and-to prices by carat band for the certified natural diamonds diamonds.com.lb holds in Beirut, generated automatically from stock, so every figure belongs to a real stone you can reserve.

How to read these prices

Every figure in the table is a price we have set against the Rapaport list, the benchmark the trade uses for a diamond of a given shape, weight, colour and clarity. Each stone’s own page prints its Rapaport list price beside ours, with the difference shown as a percentage below Rapaport, and how we price sets out the method in full.

Within one carat band, the spread between the lowest and highest price can be wide, for good reasons:

  • Colour and clarity. A colourless, high-clarity stone costs more than a near-colourless, eye-clean one of the same weight, though the two can look alike once set.
  • Cut and proportions. A well-cut stone returns more light and looks larger face-up for its weight, and it is priced accordingly.
  • Exact weight. Prices step up at the round carat marks, so a stone just under a milestone weight costs less per carat than one just over it.
  • Shape. Round brilliants have their own Rapaport table and usually cost more per carat than fancy shapes such as ovals, cushions or radiants of the same grades.
  • Fluorescence. It tends to lower the price, often with no visible effect on the stone.

So two diamonds of the same weight can differ markedly in price, and both prices can be fair. The 4Cs of diamonds explained covers the grades themselves, and diamond prices in Lebanon: a buyer’s guide shows how to judge any quote you receive, wherever it comes from.

1 carat diamond prices

The 1 carat mark is the weight buyers ask about most. Here is the current range across our stones from 0.90 to 1.19 carats:

17 stones in stock, from $1,450 to $4,500 Updated 21 October 2026

A well-cut stone just under the full carat looks almost identical on the hand and sits below the price step at the milestone. Every stone in this range, with its 360° video and certificate, is on the 1 carat diamonds in Lebanon page.

2 carat diamond prices

Two carats is where prices climb fastest, because stones of that size are much rarer. The current range across our stones from 1.90 to 2.49 carats:

2 stones in stock, from $7,000 to $19,000 Updated 21 October 2026

Each one, with its report and 360° video, is on the 2 carat diamonds in Lebanon page.

Price per carat, and the price of a gram of diamond

Diamonds are weighed and priced in carats, not grams: one carat is 0.2 gram, so a gram is five carats. The price per carat is not fixed either. It rises with the size of the stone and with its grades, so a 2 carat diamond costs far more than two 1 carat diamonds of the same quality. Here is what our 1 carat stones cost per carat today:

17 stones in stock, from $1,593 to $4,245 per carat Updated 21 October 2026

And our 2 carat stones, per carat:

2 stones in stock, from $3,271 to $7,787 per carat Updated 21 October 2026

A “price per gram” quoted for diamonds usually means small melee stones sold by weight for jewellery work, which are a different market from a certified centre stone.

Engagement ring prices

The table covers loose diamonds only. A finished ring adds the setting, which is priced separately from the metal weight at the day’s gold price, the labour and any small diamonds in the design, and quoted on WhatsApp once you have chosen your stone and design. Common questions

How much is 1 gram of diamond in Lebanon?

Diamonds are not sold by the gram. One gram equals five carats, and the price per carat climbs steeply with size and quality, so five small stones and one five-carat diamond are priced very differently. The per-carat lines on this page show today’s real figures for the weights we hold in Beirut.

How much is a 2 carat diamond in Lebanon?

It depends on colour, clarity and cut, and two carats is where prices climb fastest. The 2 carat line on this page shows the current range across our stones from 1.90 to 2.49 carats, and the 2 carat diamonds page lists each one with its certificate and 360° video.

How much does a diamond cost in Lebanon?

It depends on carat weight, colour, clarity, cut and shape, and the spread is wide even within one weight. The table on this page shows the current lowest and highest price in each carat band among the certified natural diamonds diamonds.com.lb holds in Beirut, so you see real figures rather than estimates.

How much is a 1 carat diamond in Lebanon?

A 1 carat diamond’s price depends mostly on its colour, clarity and cut, so two stones of the same weight can differ widely. The 1 carat line on this page shows the current range across our stones from 0.90 to 1.19 carats, and the 1 carat diamonds page lists each one with its certificate and 360° video.

Are these real prices or estimates?

They are real prices. Every figure in the table belongs to a certified natural diamond physically in stock in Beirut, each with its own page, GIA or HRD report number and 360° video. The table is generated from stock automatically, so sold stones drop out and new arrivals appear on their own.

Why do two diamonds of the same carat weight have different prices?

Carat is only weight. Colour, clarity, cut quality, proportions, fluorescence and shape all move the price, and the Rapaport benchmark itself has a separate line for each combination of grades. A well-cut, near-colourless, eye-clean stone can be a better buy than a higher-graded one that looks no different once set.

Do these prices include a ring setting?

No. The table lists loose diamond prices only. A ring setting is priced separately, from its metal weight at the day’s gold price, the labour and any small diamonds in the design, and the finished ring is quoted on WhatsApp once you have chosen your diamond and setting.

Which currency are the prices in?

All diamond prices at diamonds.com.lb are shown in US dollars, in this table and on every stone’s own page. Reserving a stone requires a deposit, and the balance is paid at collection by appointment in Beirut or on free insured delivery within Greater Beirut.
