Our Story
Our family has worked in diamonds in Beirut — not behind a retail counter, but inside the trade itself, where stones are weighed, graded, and priced among professionals.

Inside the Beirut trade
Our story began in the wholesale gemstone market of Beirut, when the founder — a young jeweller who had fallen for the fire of loose stones — set out to solve a problem the city’s jewellers all shared: fine certified diamonds were almost impossible to source locally. He travelled the world, hand-picking stones, and built the supply that let Lebanon’s jewellers create high jewellery without the wait.
We were the name behind the name — the house that graded and supplied the diamond long before it ever reached a shop window. That work is the finest education a diamond dealer can have. It teaches you to read a stone in poor light as well as good, to know when a certificate flatters and when it tells the truth, and to price any diamond honestly against the world benchmark on any given week.
Why we opened our doors directly
Our clients were jewellers and manufacturers across Lebanon and the region. But the way people buy has changed. Couples here — and Lebanese families across the diaspora — increasingly want to buy the way the trade buys: the actual certified stone, at an honest price, without the layers of retail markup and theatre between them and the diamond.
diamonds.com.lb is that door. The same stones, the same grading eye, the same wholesale relationships — offered directly, for the first time, to the person who will wear the ring.
What the trade taught us
- A diamond is bought with the eye and verified with paper — never the other way around.
- A certificate from GIA or HRD is the beginning of trust, not the end of it. Verify it yourself; we will wait.
- The same paper grade can hide two very different stones. Cut — not carat, not a flattering colour grade — is what makes a diamond come alive.
- Transparency costs nothing and earns everything. We publish each stone’s grade, its certificate, and where its price stands against the trade benchmark.
The house today
The second generation — trained in gemology at the Gemological Institute of America — now runs the house alongside the first. Every diamond we sell is held in stock in Beirut, graded by GIA or HRD, filmed in 360°, and delivered insured across Greater Beirut within 24 to 48 hours. Our settings are made to order, by hand, in our own atelier.
The address has changed. The standard has not.
