Availability is confirmed on WhatsApp. Reserving requires a deposit; the balance is paid on collection in Beirut or on free insured delivery within Greater Beirut. A loose diamond can be returned within 7 days if unset, unworn and undamaged; a made-to-order setting cannot, once crafted. **Effective date:** 12 October 2026 ## Who we are diamonds.com.lb is an online diamond house based in Beirut, Lebanon, in the Bourj Hammoud district. We sell natural, GIA- or HRD-certified [loose diamonds](https://diamonds.com.lb/loose-diamonds/), held as physical stock in Beirut, and [engagement ring settings](https://diamonds.com.lb/engagement-rings/) made to order around the diamond you choose. We work online only, with no shop floor and no walk-ins: you choose on the website or on WhatsApp, and meeting in person is only to pay and collect, by appointment. ## Prices Diamond prices are shown in US dollars on each stone's listing. A price can change until the stone is reserved. The price of a finished engagement ring is quoted on WhatsApp once the diamond and setting are chosen. ## Availability Each natural diamond is one of one, so a stone shown on our site can be sold at any moment. Before you reserve, we confirm on WhatsApp that the stone is still available. A listing on the site is not a reservation. ## Reserving and paying Every reservation requires a deposit. The deposit takes the diamond off the market in your name while your ring is made or your collection or delivery is arranged. The deposit amount is agreed with you on WhatsApp when you reserve. The balance is paid on collection or on delivery. ## Collection and delivery - **Collection.** You can collect in person, by appointment in Beirut. The exact address is shared privately once the appointment is booked, and the appointment is for payment and collection only. - **Delivery.** Insured delivery is free within Greater Beirut only, typically within 24 to 48 hours for diamonds in stock. We do not deliver elsewhere in Lebanon or abroad: buyers outside Greater Beirut, including those living abroad, collect by appointment in Beirut. Our [delivery page](https://diamonds.com.lb/delivery/) has the details. ## Made-to-order rings Engagement rings are made to order in Beirut, in about a week to ten days from the moment they are reserved with a deposit. Every detail of the design, metal and ring size is confirmed with you before anything is crafted. When time is short, the express option sets your diamond into a ready-made mounting in 24 to 48 hours, with a narrower choice of designs and sizes. You can start in the [ring builder](https://diamonds.com.lb/build-your-ring/). ## Returns A loose diamond may be returned for a refund within 7 days of delivery, provided it is: - not set into a ring or any other piece of jewellery; - unworn and unused; - free of any chip, breakage or alteration; - returned with its original grading certificate and packaging. A diamond that has been set, worn or used, or that comes back more than 7 days after purchase, is no longer eligible for a full refund, and any return is then at our discretion. A diamond returned chipped, broken or altered may be refused. Made-to-order ring settings are handcrafted for you and cannot be returned for a refund once crafted. Returns are handled in person, by appointment in Beirut, so the stone and its certificate can be checked together. To start one, message us on WhatsApp with your order. Each certificate's report number can be checked on the laboratory's own website, and our guide on [how to verify a GIA or HRD certificate online](https://diamonds.com.lb/how-to-verify-gia-hrd-certificate-online/) shows where. We send each stone's certificate on WhatsApp on request. ## Using this website The guides, articles and other content on this site are for general information, to help you understand diamonds and the way we work.
